Stefan Dražinac joined LEONI November 2019 as technician, promoted to supervisor 2021 and became Team Leader in 2022.

My story at LEONI

I'm Stefan Dražinac and I am a high school graduate majoring in automation electrical engineering. I started working at LEONI on November 12, 2019 as a technician, and in January 2021 I became a technician supervisor. In May 2022, I was promoted to the Team Leader position.

My job

First thing in the morning, I review all the reports of problems that occurred the previous day. After that, there is a series of meetings with the maintenance technicians team and production colleagues, where we discuss and familiarize ourselves with the problems that have occurred in the previous 24 hours, and then we have a meeting with supervisors and technicians to check whether everything is as it should be. I handle parts ordering and analysis for daily and weekly activities for OE and scrap.

Constant communication with colleagues from other departments is very important for maintenance, because we have to solve certain problems together.

My highlight

There are lots of job positions at LEONI that match my expertise. I love everything about my job, I love tools, repairs and everything including. Besides that, I knew that I could learn a lot in this company.

Before I became a Team Leader, I never believed that would be possible. This shows how anyone who is ambitious enough, who works hard and who is ready to learn can grow and get promoted in LEONI.

My view of LEONI as an employer

I would say that I represent the possibility of being promoted and improving your career gradually and that is what I appreciate the most. Moreover, I appreciate the opportunity that was given to me to grow career-wise and the best thing about my work is that I met my beloved wife in the company.

I am grateful that I not only have the opportunity to work with people from Serbia, but I also have the opportunity to work with colleagues who come from other countries. Consequently we have shared our experience and I have learned a lot from them as well.

Both the atmosphere in the team as well as the communication are good. We foster teamwork by helping each other solve problems and we always keep friendly atmosphere.

LEONI has given me experience, personal growth and increased my motivation.

My tips

The company provides safety, appropriate training, as well as valuable knowledge about machines. It is a good chance to build yourself, because you have the opportunity to learn from engineers and technicians who have a lot of experience.
