LEONI Serbia as a partner in the event of industrial management students

Through two workshops, LEONI’s experts introduced students to the issues of crisis management and the challenges faced by companies in the automotive industry

The company LEONI Serbia was a partner of the association ESTIEM, whose members are students of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, at the international meeting called "Be a Crisis Manager for 5 days powered by LEONI", which was held from March 25 to 29, 2024 in Belgrade . The event gathered around 25 students from Germany, Turkey, Russia and Serbia. The LEONI company has prepared two expert events for the participants.

How crisis management is defined, how to prepare for a crisis, how it is done in the automotive industry, as well as many examples of resolved crisis situations - students had the opportunity to hear this at the workshop held by our manager of the Quality, Audit and Methods System Đina Stojiljković. The students expressed their enthusiasm for Đina's inspired lecture, then their satisfaction that they had the opportunity to learn something new, and they also had a large number of questions that were patiently answered by our colleague Đina Stojiljković.

The second event was a crisis case study. How to organize a summer holiday for all employees, without production being stopped for a single moment - this was the task set for the students by our team from the LEONI factory in Kraljevo: Jelena Paunović, lead expert for continuous improvement and Nikola Nikolić, project manager.

Solving the case study for two hours, the young colleagues rotated the teams, calculated the costs... Apart from the fact that we all had a good time and started brainstorming, it became clear to everyone that in real business life, a crisis can appear where you least expect it.

From the participants of the ESTIEM event, we could hear many words of praise for the LEONI company's performance - they say that our workshops were the most interesting for them because they were confronted with countless examples from the life of a company, which put theoretical knowledge to the test.
